As Canada's Festival City, Edmonton celebrates a variety of artistic disciplines including music, visual arts, dance, performing arts, sports and film. This wide variety includes the internationally renowned Folk, Fringe and Street Performers festivals. In 2012, Athletics Alberta is extremely proud to present the Edmonton International Athletics Festival which is dedicated to providing an educational and sporting environment for competitive and non-competitive athletes to empower and showcase the sport of athletics to the people of Edmonton. |
This inaugural festival features provincial, national & international athletes and is produced by Athletics Alberta.
This annual international festival will strategically position and develop the Donovan Bailey Invitational (formally known as the Edmonton International Track Classic) and the following signature events: The Blue Mile Road Race, The Street Meet, the Little Big Run & the Hershey's Provincial Track & Field Games
