Race #7 of the 2012 Timex road race series, the Dino Dash, appeared to end up being a somewhat "tactical" affair.

Graham Diehl of Calgary took some "Mo Fahr"  inspiration and only ran as fast as needed to win, taking the 10km race in a somewhat pedestrian 34:00 but well clear of 2nd place finisher David Guss (Calgary) who finished in 35:29.  The battle for 2nd was much closer with Robert Desandoli of Lethbridge only 7 seconds back of Guss in a time of 35:36. The women's race seemed a bit more "honest" in terms of time with Calgary's Lisa Harvey winning the event in a solid time of 37:05.  Nadyia Fry of Invermere grabbed the sliver medal in a time of 37:55 with Pauline McLean of Calgary rounding out the top 3 in a time of 39:10.

Race 38 goes Sept 9th in Stony Plain at the Rotary Run, scoring distance is 10km.
