You will be giving a group of youngsters the opportunity to take part in an activity they would not be exposed to otherwise, thus enriching their lives. |

The athletes will have fun – and so will the organizers. With the variety of events available, all youngsters should be able to find at least 3 events that they will enjoy and derive satisfaction from. For many young athletes it will be their 1st exposure to a fairly formal track & field situation. |

For schools it will help you meet the requirements of the Physical Education Curriculum. |

Some of your athletes will qualify for the Alberta/N.W.T. Championship Meet – a major boost to self-confidence and an opportunity to compete at a facility that has hosted past Canadian Track & Field Championships. |

Your athletes will be part of a North American program/competition. There is a chance that one or more of your young athletes might be successful enough to earn an all expenses paid trip to the North American Finals in Hershey, Pennsylvania. |

 |
Registration fee for schools is just $50 and that gives you school membership in Athletics Alberta for the school year. For new meets, a starter kit of equipment – watches, batons, whistles etc. For new schools, an outstanding resource, “Fast Track to Sports” – full of wonderful, practical ideas for your program. |
