Having fun with every Run, Jump & Throw...

• Hershey’s Track & Field Games is the longest running youth activity program of its kind in North America, and a great entry point for kids ages 9-14 to get active and become engaged in a healthy lifestyle.
• More than 10 million kids have participated in the games and benefited from learning basic skills to enjoy a lifetime of activity.
• Hershey’s Track & Field Games is all about helping get kids on the right track, teaching lifelong lessons and having fun with every Run, Jump & Throw along the way.

Who can participate?

Boys & girls between ages 9 - 14 can participate in the program. Age group classifications are determined by the participants's age on December 31 of the current program year.

You don't need to be a star athlete to participate in track & field. You just need to have fun. And you’ll start having fun from day one. Check this out, the fun part isn’t winning (of course, that’s pretty fun too), but it’s running and jumping and throwing. It’s meeting lots of kids just like you. It’s not a video game, it’s a real game. It’s not watching others on a TV show, it’s being the star of your own show. In one word, it’s awesome.

Every HERSHEY’S Track & Field Games meet offers running events, like the 50-meter dash and the 800-meter run, and field events, like the softball throw and the standing long jump. And that’s just for starters. If you work hard enough and qualify in your events, you’ll get the chance to compete at the North American Final in Hershey, Pennsylvania. P.S. The trip to Hershey is totally FREE and you get to do a lot of cool things like go to Hersheypark, visit HERSHEY’S CHOCOLATE WORLD Attraction, and tour HERSHEY'S state of the art chocolate factory.

How to Register?

	If you have never participated in the local Hershey Meet or at the Hershey Provincial Track & Field Games, head over to our 2013 Hershey Events in Alberta page to find a local meet in your area.
	Wondering if you have qualified for the 2013 Hershey's Provincial Track & Field Games? Click on the Hershey Local Meet Results link and check the meet you competed in to see if you qualified (Top 4 at a local meet, top 3 at a school meet in each event).  If the results/qualifiers are not listed, please be patient – check again soon and often – we will list them as soon as possible.
	Qualified for the Hershey's Track & Field Games? Head over to our Hershey Provincial Online Registration, Schedule & Information page to download the registration form for competing at the Hershey's Provincial Track & Field Games on June 22th and 23th, 2013 at Foote Field. Be sure to register online by June 16th, 2013

	All winners at the district / provincial meets become eligible for selection to the regional team which attends the Hershey’s North American Final in Pennsylvania.
