2011 will be the fourth edition of the Athletics Alberta's Run Alberta Cross Country Series sponsored by Saucony Canada and presented by the Running Room. There are 6 races in the 2011 series which used a runner's best 4 of 5 race results with Masters athletes having their best 3 age-graded results count. Finally, there is no mandatory race being held for the 2011 XC Series.
Running Solutions and it's partners believe that Cross Country running is an important part of sport in Canada and that a solid and meaningful cross country program is integral to producing world class middle and long distance runners.
Athletics Alberta officially recognizes and sanctions the following races that are registered as 'Saucony Run Alberta Cross Country Series' events in Alberta.
